This is an update of the default AI Dash 8. I have added all the wheels, a panel, a white nav light, and changed the flight dynamics. This is not a replacement for the AI Dash 8, see read me.

Unzip to a folder of your choice. Copy the aircraft folder to the main FS aircraft folder, and the gauges to the main gauges folder, no need to overwrite anything already there. To have the other two paints of the aircraft, copy the texture.1 and texture.2 folders from the default AI Dash 8 to the updated aircraft folder, before or after you copy the aircraft to the main FS aircraft folder. Not putting in these textures cut the file size to under half. The aircraft.cfg file is set for all three default textures, so when the other texture folders are added all should be OK.

THIS UPDATE IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE AI DASH 8. So treat it as a separate aircraft. The datum point on the AI aircraft is at +31 feet forward, which is only one of the reasons this aircraft cannot replace the AI Dash 8; unless you don't care how the AI aircraft looks in the sim while taking off, and maybe landing too.

The panel is not a Dash 8 panel, so if you want one, there are many to choose from and download, if you don't already have one that you like. If you replace the panel with one of your choice, remember to delete the f15 from the panel= line of each paint section.

The spoilers work, but do not show up; as the person who made the model took a shortcut and did not put them in what was supposed to be a non flyable aircraft.

Any repaints of the default aircraft should work with this update as they did with the AI aircraft. Some repaints came as separate flyable aircraft, these should also be able to be used as repaints of this aircraft, or the flight dynamics of this update can be used with them.

Look for the aircraft under DeHavilland, not de Havilland, another reason it is not compatible with the AI.
